The committee is elected annually at the AGM, the most recent was held on 23 July 2017. Their role is to guide Growing Redhill, ensure it sticks to its original aims and provide administrative and promotional support to the group, as well as solid links in to other community groups. Our postal address to send donations or membership payments is: Growing Redhill c/o 5 Crossland Road, Redhill RH1 4AN. Please make cheques payable to Growing Redhill. Committee members are expected to attend scheduled events, support and advise new members where required, and help out at promotional events where Growing Redhill maintains a presence. We would like to co-opt new members on the committee. Let us know why you would be suitable by email to the Chair. If you join the committee, you would need to put yourself up for election at the annual AGM. An avid gardener, Debbie is also Vice President of the horticultural society in Caterham and its district. She loves entering shows and recently won the RHS Banksian Medal at Merstham Flower Show. She grows peat free and encourages wildlife. As our Chair, she convenes and runs our meetings and maintains our formal paperwork. She organises events and promotions. And liaises with groups that we share aims with.
